Knowledge is potential power and applied knowledge is power,goes one saying. Substantiating this, College of Commerce does everything possible to make the outgoing students'industry ready'. It is well known to us that the abstract knowledge imparted to the students in a traditional classroom environment takes them nowhere in real life. The easy way out is to develop a kind of consciousness’ among students regarding the application of every knowledge they gain in a class room. At this college, students are made to do ‘insitu’ jobs to the maximum possible extent. Pass outs are given a few days training on the line of finishing school concept. In this session they are taught soft skills, interpersonal skills and communicative skills. Management candidates are provided with a summer career discovery program to enable them to have a smooth sailing in the process of interviews.
